Here I am in my new town, house and office - Thinking about the title of this post. Third House and 3 years of marriage. We sure didnt move once a year. We bought the house in Orlando, the grey one for us. We fell in love with the cedar ceilings and because it was a bank owned home we got it a little over price but in abandoned condition. The carpet had to be yanked, interior painted and appliances to move into so we went at it in a fever. We even painted and did an over haul on the outside! In the first 8 months. We began realizing as we came to a "Finished" project we weren't happy living in town, that the house was just to be lived in...........Then we had realtors coming to ask if they could list our home because the demand was in our area and they needed listings.
We doubled our money plus a little more and it was a cash buy and out the door in 2 weeks. WE DID NOT HAVE A HOUSE in mind when it sold but our realtor found us a house the same day and we coordinated the move. Bye Bye Orlando.....................Hello Deland, Florida!
What I love about this place is it is in a desirable wildlife area, down a one lane road with 4 neighbors and 2.5 acres. I will admit when new neighbor told me about no bird feeders watch your trash that we have bears here I was pondering what I would do if I seen one. Its been 4 months and I only have heard creepy things in the night and I dont go out after dusk.

The bushes and greenery in front was the first to go. In the back two magnolia trees were growing up against the house and they went too. Grandson is pointing out a broken line but it was no big deal it was a sprinkler system that was being removed. Ever try to remodel with a 3.5 yr old? lol. We had to hault and add a swing to a tree to keep him occupied.
Going forward - Snow cap rocks and edging, tinted windows, security screen door. For those who are very sharp the chimney gets painted the weekend! New roof in a couple weeks.
End of Today's post. I didnt leave out a house - Family is using it and that one is in Orlando. We over hauled that one in 3 weeks working 6 am to 7pm daily for 3 weeks. No, do NOT want to do that again.
Next post will be a bathroom update that cost under 6.00 to do and looks expensive. I am not a fan of the contractor build flat clipped on bathroom mirrors- I have a Ethan Allen Mirror I need to paint then I'll get the update done and show you. I might even tell you how I got grounded. lol!
