This space outdoors was definetly unuseable when we purchased this foreclosed home. The area between garage and the main structure of the house is enclosed. No way out of the area from outside the wall. The only way in...is from two sliding glass doors off Kitchen and living room. The Palm tree was taking up great space. It was so overgrown that I had to remove the growth to get out the sliding door to unearth the concerete floor to know this space could be used for privacy to sunbath outside!

We had loved the color from our masterbedroom and Lania to carry it to this outdoor space so we started with cleaning out the over growth and paint the 3 walls outdoors. The shelf was worth repainting. For awhile I was using a lawn chair to lay out in the sun. I had a bistro table out there for am coffee with my hubster. The way the sun moved during the day I kept having to reposition the table and my chair. Not to mention the hot summer climate in Florida I would have to give up ship to go in and shower to cool down since I am a replanted northerner. This gave birth to the idea of having a "platform". The platform would allow me a space to lay out and space for my bistro set. I love how hubster built the platform that it looks as if it floats. We now have cushions on the platform with Ivy on the white wall and I have odered more decor.
The tiki torch bottles provide fore, the solar lights the relaxing evening lightening. The plan to add a wall fountain above the white shelf is something I am eagerly awaiting. I just have to decide if I am getting an electric fountain if so hubster will need to put in a plug for me. I also have to find that special fountain I am looking for and will only know when I see it!

Unfortunately because of the bistro table you have to strain to see left of the platform the 4 pavers for the outdoor shower. You might see the valve on the wall. I joke with my northern friends that this is the perfect guest space I can rent them! Honestly I feel like I own a small piece of paradise here in Orlando!
