When the stresses of daily life get to be a bit too much, the following tea of natural herbs is refreshing and relaxing. While gently relaxing you, it also stimulates your nervous system by releasing energy blocks and stress.
Melissa (Lemon Balm) Tea
3 parts Melissa (Lemon Balm)
1 part Lemon Verbena
1 part Chamomile
1 part Wood Betony
1 part Borage Flowers
Mix the dry herbs in an air tight glass jar and store in a cool dark place.
To make: place 1 - 2 teaspoons in a cup or 2 - 3 tablespoons in a quart container / teapot; pour boiling water over the herbs and let it infuse about 20 minutes. Strain. Add honey or Truvia to sweeten as desired.
Drink as often as desired.
The herbs can be ordered from Mountain Rose Herbs (https://www.mountainroseherbs.com/catalog/herbs/bulk). The herbs are organically grown and hand-picked to ensure only the finest quality are selected.
We enjoy this tea at any time of day, but it is also great when unwinding in the evening.
